Regular Withdrawals

Regular Withdrawals charts are an easy way to show the effects that regular withdrawals have on your initial investments.

To produce a regular withdrawals chart, make sure that you have this option selected in the Investment Option drop-down.

  • Data Frequency – This is purely for visual purposes on the chart and does not affect the frequency of savings.
  • Withdrawal Frequency – This option will dictate how often to regularly withdrawal

Note: Monthly will require the day of the month to regularly invest. Quarterly/Yearly will require the day and month to regularly invest.

  • Initial Investment – The Amount to start the chart on.

E.g. a value of 10000 will essentially start the chart with an investment of 10k.

  • Withdrawal Type – Here you can select to either withdraw an annual % or a regular fixed amount.

Note: When using the annual % option, we will divide the percentage into the relevant withdrawal frequency.

E.g. A withdrawal % of 6% with a withdrawal frequency of monthly, we will withdraw 0.5% per month to total 6% over the year.
