File Manager

The file manager is designed to allow users to perform actions on saved items within Analytics. A number of options and filters enable users to, quickly and effectively, narrow down the displayed selection and perform tasks on the selected items.

The options and filters include:

Search Filter - Enables clients to quickly search all options within the filter section.

Select - The user can select or un-select all rows within the current view. A selected row will appear yellow and the client can also manually select rows by clicking on each row in turn.

Item Actions - A list of actions that can be used on selected rows. These include:

  • Archive Items
  • Assign/Unassign Client
  • Copy to User
  • Delete Items
  • Edit Labels
  • Edit Privacy
  • Move to User
  • Rename

Search Within Table - Allows the user to search for specific items within the table.

View - Provides different representations of the files saved in Analytics.

Selection - Displays the current range of items in the table. Default is set to Portfolio.

Instrument Type - The user can select the instrument types displayed in the table.

Client - The user can select items attributed to a specific client.

Label - Allows a user to select items with specific labels.

Favourites - Items can be made a favourite by clicking the star icon next to the desired item.

Sorting - Items in the table can be sorted by clicking any of the underlined headings.

Note: If users are using Internet Explorer 8 or older they may experience performance problems.
