Percentile
Percentile represents a method of splitting up a set of ranked data into 100 equally large subsections. The percentile rank is the proportion of values in a distribution that a specific value is greater than or equal to.
For example, if a fund has a 10% gain over one year and that value was greater than or equal to the value of 88% of funds in that sector, then the value would place that fund in the 88th percentile.
