The relative snail trail chart shows how a fund’s risk and performance has moved relative to a chosen benchmark over a given time period. The line on the graph will simulate the movement of the fund versus the benchmark, historic data is shown in the lightest colour, and the intensity of the colour grows as the fund draws towards recent data.

The chart can be manipulated by changing the following:

Rolling Period

You can choose a number of different rolling period from 3 months to 10 years.

Period Ends

You can choose weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly period ends.

Number of Periods

You can specify the number of periods. Please note that creating a chart with a large amount of performance periods may take some time due to the amount of data being requested.

Benchmark

Select the benchmark which the fund or item is relative to.

Note: The chart uses Total Return figures and can only display one item or fund at a time.
